Fresh ingredients are tastiest when prepared immediately before use. Compact and portable, Cousin Bartolomeo’s Rotary Cheese Grater grates ingredients whenever and wherever needed. Perfect for home cooking and baking, it saves valuable time during food preparation. Quickly grate hard cheese, like Asiago, and semi-hard cheese, like Parmesan, Pecorino or Romano over pasta before serving, or create a breadcrumb topping for baked mac and cheese and casseroles. Freshly grate almond meal, and other nut meal, or block chocolate to finish baked goods and dessert recipes, or hot chocolate, coffee beverages, and frozen drinks. Easy to load and use. Simply squeeze the tabs on both sides of the cover to open it. Set ingredient inside. Replace the cover and push in until it clicks into place. A spring inside the cover holds items against the drum with a firm, gentle pressure for consistent results. The chamber comfortably holds pieces up to 2-inches wide and ⅝-inch thick.
