HIC's 18/8 Stainless Steel French Fry Cutter quickly makes thick-cut steak fries (also called pommes frites or chips) and thin-cut shoestring fries by the dozens, with one easy push of the handle. It cuts uniformly sized pieces that cook evenly for perfect French fries, every time, and it does its job without taking up much space. For much more than just a burger and fries or the best fish and chips. Julienne vegetables, like zucchini, cucumbers or sweet potatoes, for party platters, lunch snacks or for pot roast recipes! The French Fry Cutter's suction base securely locks onto any smooth, nonporous surface to keep the cutter in place during use. Insert a cutting grid, either the classic French fry (25 holes) or julienne (49 holes) and matching pusher plate to achieve desired-size cut vegetables. The cutting grids can be changed out quickly, as needed. Peel and prepare veggies to measure no larger than 3' long by 2' wide, with ends sliced off, so they are flat. Lift the Cutter handle and place vegetable inside horizontally. Slowly lower the handle, with a slight rocking motion, to push the vegetable through the cutting grid. Use more or less force, depending on the density of the vegetable. HIC's French Fry Cutter, with stainless steel body and cutting grids, has a skid-free rubber suction base for easy operation.
